The vision of PLAY Cochrane is for Cochrane children to develop physical literacy at home, at school and in the community, with the support of community partners.
Cochrane is using its CS4L Community grant to partner with local elementary schools, building their capacity to develop physical literacy in all students through the training of leaders, teachers, coaches, youth and volunteers in the support and delivery of physical literacy programming.
Part of being a Canadian Sport for Life Champion is striving to be a catalyst that improves the quality of sport or physical activity based on CS4L principles. These individuals motivate others and inspire change.
Cochrane exemplifies how a community can embrace CS4L principles, and how the work of just a few Champions can ignite that community. LEARN MORE
